Halloween

Jack was Elmo; Lily was a frog. We took them to downtown Jefferson, GA for the annual Halloween event. Jack was sort of in a trance what with all of the people and candy and policemen and such. Lily slept, mostly.

New Stuff

It gets harder and harder to do "want to" since the tyranny of "have to" seems to take over. Sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything. Here's a few pix to keep you up to date.

Lily

The best little girl is learning to smile!

You're getting sleepy...

This is an oldy but a goody. (What with stuff to do for work, sick babies and parents, and the general busy-ness of life, I haven't posted much lately. I'll try to throw in some olds ones with the new ones and catch up a bit). This is from July when Jane came to visit. The Man got so sleepy during lunch one day that he could NOT keep his eyes open. This is a great time line leading from fussiness to sleepiness.

Babies and Bees

Jack got his first bee-sting this weekend. He and Dad were out walking in the yard, Dad turned away for a second, and when he heard screaming, Dad looked back and saw a bee on Jack's hand. It was a major crisis for both of them! Jack was very needy for the rest of the day, as evidenced by the top picture. He recovered nicely, as you can see in the bottom picture, and sat beside Daddy to read his book.

Jane's Visit

Jane came to visit shortly after Lily was born. You have no idea how much we needed the help! One nice day we got to go out on the back deck and relax some, and we also got to get in the pool!

More Pool Time

He loves the pool. Splashing = fun!

Yet again, more of the same

I know that some of these are very similar to other ones, but I just can't get enough of them.

At the top of her game...

So far this is what Lily does best!

Miscellaneous

I just never get tired of these kinds of pictures.

Labor Pains

Here's the picture of "Lil-Lith's" birth announcement. She was "born" about 24 hours after Lily was. Dad's recommendation to everyone is "Don't get a kidney stone!"

Leaving the Hospital

Aren't those sub-ocular suitcases attractive?

Cindy did a great job decorating Lily's room.

Lily is Born!

The top picture is a testament to the amazing powers of the epidural. Weeeee! Cindy says that 7 pounds, 9 oz. is a lot better than 9 lbs. 4 oz. I think Cindy looks fabulous for having just been through labor.
