So we thought we'd escape some of the snow by going to RH. But it even found us there! The last 30 miles of the trip were in a heavy blizzard. No kidding, it was really snowing! Jack and Lily love to play with Will and Anna. All of the pictures I have of Jack and Will are ones where Jack is trying to tackle Will!
The kids had a ball playing in the leftover snow. Sledding and snowballs and running and yelling. In the picture with the snowman ("Frosty!"), Jack isn't just looking down, he's pouting over something.
On Friday, there was more visiting with the cousins. Again, a good time was had by all. Jack was definitely overwhelmed at times, and had to have some comforting, but he also got into the swing of it, and played lots with Will and Anna. It was nice to see him learning how to play with other youngsters.
Early on Jack's first birthday, he got to eat at the "kid's table" for the first time! Shirley got to be the referee, and a good time was had by all. Then he got to go on a (cold) walk. Well, he strolled, Big Jack, Paul, and Cindy walked. Don't you like his hat?
Jack had a ball visiting his Grandmama, Granddaddy, his Aunts and Uncles, and his cousins in Columbia, SC. He had fun opening presents (the paper was the best fun)! He enjoyed teething on the new puppies toys also. Many thanks to Carole, Al, Lindsay, and Carlyn for the great hospitality!
