Clowns and snow...

So, after the circus, nothing would do except to go to school dressed as a 'girl-clown.'

She still asks 'where's the circus', now going on 2 months later.

Then in March, we visited Cindy's mom in the mountains.

We had a ball!

Christmas in Marion Part II

If you ever need any pineapples, just ask Wilma, she grows them in the mountains of NC!

The kids loved the Angel on top of the Christmas tree.

Christmas 2008, Part IV

We went out to eat one night. Thank goodness for french fries!

Christmas 2008, Part III

Jack and Lily got to destroy, uh, 'play with' lots of new stuff. Also, we can see where Cindy gets her 'close your eyes for the camera' gene.

Trip to visit Grandparents, Part II

Part II of our trip this past weekend was to Marion, NC. Again, lots of fun. Also, cows! Both Lily and Jack got to pet the cows, and Lily got a little ride. PBR, here she comes!

Jack P: The Christening

Pastor Carey Gibson administered the rites of Christening upon The Jack. He was very good and didn't fuss at all (Jack that is; Carey doesn't usually fuss too much). He grinned and waved at one of the altar-girls during the ceremony. Don't you love the little blue elf slippers?

That's Cindy's parents on the left, Adrian and Wilma Stubbs.

Thanksgiving

We went up to Jane and Bill's for Thanksgiving. Jane must have thought our names were "Hansel" and "Gretel" because she stuffed us full of food. The turkey was fabulous! Jack tried some and loved it, the little bit he could wrestle away from his mom. Cindy didn't even wait to dig in, just ripped a turkey leg right off! (She ate the whole thing by the way)! Jack has also discovered that he can "pull up" on stuff. He hasn't done that much at home, because Paul and Cindy long ago got rid of the coffee table (too easy for dog's to destroy stuff). We're in trouble now.
On Friday, we went to see Cindy's parents. Jack loved playing with their coffee table too, and he got to see some cows. More turkey again, and some ham this time!

Visit with the Stubbs

While we were at Jane and Bill's house (see below), we took a day to go see Cindy's Mom and Dad, Wilma and Adrian Stubbs. Jack had a ball, showing off his Cheerio eating skills!
