Reunion at the Old Tyner Place

Pictures from our visit to the Old Tyner Place. Jack (and parents) had a big, cold time.

We've got more pictures; did anyone get a website together to put everybody's pictures?

Funny Stuff!

BDP just can't get enough of the happy boy in a highchair pictures.

Jack wasn't very happy about his envelope hat, but Cindy and Paul sure were!

Valentine's Day

Every year we go to a big Valentine's Day dance and auction (everything benefits a local charity). Isn't Cindy sultry?

Super Bowl

Jack had a ball a the Resciniti's house. Technically it was his second Big Game, but I don't think he really enjoyed it as much the first time around (when he was about 10 days old)!

Something Jack said really surprised Frank!

More Changes...

We've decided to make Jack's Blog a private blog. Right now it's a public blog, and anyone in the world can view it. It increasingly makes Big Daddy P feel nervous to think about who might be looking at the blog. It's probably a paranoid delusional thing, but...better safe than sorry.
So what this means is that we'll have to send you an email invitation to view the blog. Once you get the invitation, you click on the link in the email and it will take you to a place where you log in with your Google account. (It's a free thing Google offers, kind of like a Yahoo account). After this first time, you'll just go to the website as usual (jackfrank.blogspot.com), except you'll have to log in each time you want to view it.
We know this is going to be a hassle at first, but hopefully it will only be a small detail as everyone gets used to it. Please email or call Paul or Cindy with your comments or concerns.

We'll start the switch to a private blog on March 1. Send us your email address before then so we can put you on the approved guest list!

Thanks!

More Birthday Fun

On Friday, there was more visiting with the cousins. Again, a good time was had by all. Jack was definitely overwhelmed at times, and had to have some comforting, but he also got into the swing of it, and played lots with Will and Anna. It was nice to see him learning how to play with other youngsters.

Cake!

Later that afternoon, it was time for the cake! Shirley got a local caterer to make a small cake for Jack (and a bigger cake for Paul - Thanks, Shirley)! Jack's cake was very pretty, and had this cool blue icing. Jack loved it and didn't need any instructions on how to eat it (he used one finger)! He also used his face, hands, shirt as an "icing reservoir." The blue icing certainly looked appetizing going in, but, well, let's just say Jack's GI tract was not up to the challenge!

He gots lots of fun presents and cards, including these maracas. It was all a little overwhelming.

First Birthday

Early on Jack's first birthday, he got to eat at the "kid's table" for the first time! Shirley got to be the referee, and a good time was had by all. Then he got to go on a (cold) walk. Well, he strolled, Big Jack, Paul, and Cindy walked. Don't you like his hat?

Slight change to the blog...

BDP has slightly changed the blog. He changed it so that only the 20 most recent posts are visible. This is so that people with slow internet connections can access the page without waiting for every image to upload every time. All of the old posts are still here, they're just in the archives, on the right hand side. Email Paul, comment here in this post, or vote in the poll to let your opinion be known.

By the way, the final outcome of the girl vs. boy vote was 24 for girl, 5 for boy. We have an appointment to find out for sure on February 7.
